If I can get cheap whitening kits online, why should I bother having it done at the clinic?

DO NOT order high concentration whitening kits online. If by chance you do and you really intend to use the kit, at least book in to see your dentist and ask their opinion on the kit. Being able to obtain whitening products online is easier than ever however it could result in significant damage to your teeth and gums if it isn’t administered properly.

Cosmetic dentistry whitening trays should be custom-designed and made (which is what we do in our clinic) to ensure too much whitening agent isn’t used and it stays in action against the tooth surfaces where it needs time to work.
